According to Qassim Health Affairs, five new medical divisions were inaugurated at Buraidah Central Hospital, supported with state-of-the-art medical equipment and specialized medical staff in order to improve therapeutic programs provided to patients.
Qassim Health Affairs will continue with supporting therapeutic medical specialties to reduce referral of patients to hospitals outside the region. The region’s needs for medical specialties are reviewed continuously to secure them at specialized hospitals and medical centers.
The new medical divisions included plastic surgery unit, neurosurgery, and internal medicine, integrated digestive system unit, vascular surgery unit and EEG unit. These divisions will support the health services provided to outpatients and cases referred from the region’s hospitals.
