A Saudi team of surgeons from King Fahad Specialist Hospital - Tabuk has successfully done two surgical procedures for two patients at Umloj Hospital. The first procedure featured laparoscopic cholecystectomy, while the second laparoscopic appendicitis removal.
Remarkably, over the past month, Umloj Hospital conducted 12 surgical procedures and 5 day surgeries. Inaugurated in 1436H. and equipped with state-of-the-art medical technologies, Umloj Hospital is one of the cutting-edge hospitals with 100-bed capacity
It is noteworthy that the MOH has launched a daily specialization-based e-Waiting List for surgical operations on its online portal. The list features the MOH's hospitals, along with surgical specializations and corresponding waiting days respectively. The list also includes five levels of waiting days, from one to 180 days.
By launching this initiative, MOH aims to update all patients and beneficiaries of services provided by its health facilities on the developmental efforts to boost performance levels, and to provide high quality services to satisfy and meet the health needs of citizens.
