Thanks to Allah, the Orthopedic Surgery Team at King Fahad Hospital in Al-Hofuf has successfully managed to replace the hip joint to a 62-year-old patient, after he couldn’t walk without assistance for two years. After the medical examination had been performed to the patient, all necessary precautions taken and the required consultations carried out, the medical team decided to conduct a surgery, which has been crowned with success. Now, the patient has become able to walk again after two years of suffering, May Allah be praised.
It is worth mentioning that Orthopedic Surgery Section at King Fahad Hospital has conducted more than 50 surgeries of prosthetic joint replacement for knee and hip over a year.
