Blood Bank at Al-Noor Specialized Hospital in Makkah Receives More Than 60 Blood Donors during One Day

The Blood Bank at Al-Noor Specialized Hospital in Makkah has received more than 64 blood donors within one day, while the average number of blood donors every day is at least 30 fe/male blood donors. Makkah Health Affairs General Directorate continues to support the bank, by means of providing and furnishing a modern room that includes all equipment and arrangements needed for the staff and blood donors. The room has a strategic location next to the hospital’s mosque, near the visitors’ gate and the main building of the hospital, the matter which make it easy for outpatients and visitors to access the donation room easily and conveniently.
 
On the other hand, the E-Services Program of Al-Noor Specialized Hospital has recently been launched, which provided all e-services for outpatients of the hospital, enabling them to complete the procedures electronically, without the need to attend the hospital. These e-services target three categories, namely: the first one includes patients and visitors, benefiting from Appointment Review Service, Appointment Making Service, Laboratory Results Service, Medication Review Service, and Medical Reports Service at its first phase, in addition to Radiology Reports Service and Healthcare Computing Service. The second category includes physicians, benefiting from Laboratory Results Service, Pharmacy Service and Radiology Images and Reports Service. The third category includes Employee E-mail Service and Personnel Affairs Service.
