MOH to Launch Its Health Awareness Program: “Pilgrims' Health Is Our Top Concern”

As part of the health awareness activities carried out by the Ministry of Health (MOH) during this year’s Hajj season, the MOH’s National Center for Information and Health Promotion continues its health awareness program dubbed: “Pilgrims' Health Is Our Top Concern”, via the toll-free number: 8002494444; and through the MOH's account on Twitter: @SAUDIMOH.
 
Starting next week, the Center will host elite of consultants and specialists in various health specialties daily; in order to answer all calls and inquiries of pilgrims regarding their health status and their ability to perform the Hajj without any health problems. On Monday, Aug. 22nd, 2016 (corresponding to Dhul-Qi‘dah 19th, 1437H), the Center will host Dr. Safiah Al-Sherbini, the Endocrinology and Diabetes Consultant at King Fahad Medical City (KFMC), from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.; in order to answer all callers' inquiries relating to diabetes and endocrine diseases.
 
Furthermore, the Center will host Dr. Fatimah Al-Shinqieti, a Consultant in Obstetrics, Gynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery on Tuesday, Aug. 23rd, 2016 (corresponding to Dhul-Qi‘dah 20th, 1437H) form 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  
 
While on Sunday, Aug. 28th, 2016 (corresponding to Dhul-Qi‘dah 25th, 1437H), the Center will host Dr. Sami Al-Asmari, the Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Hospital (PMBAH), from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.   
 
Furthermore, the Center will host Dr. Abdullah Al-Shimaimry, the Consultant in Respiratory Diseases and Intensive Care at the National Guard-King Abdulaziz Medical City in Riyadh and CEO of the Community Health Promotion Center, on Monday Aug. 29th, 2016 (corresponding to Dhul-Qi‘dah 26th, 1437H), from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Besides, on Tuesday, Aug. 30th, 2016 (corresponding to Dhul-Qi‘dah 27th, 1437H), the Center will host Dr. Muneerah Ba-Rajaa, a Consultant of Family and Community Medicine, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.      
 
As for Wednesday, Aug. 31st, 2016 (corresponding to Dhul-Qi‘dah 28th, 1437H), the Center will host Dr. Hayel Al-Abdali, a Consultant in Infectious Diseases, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.  
 
Concluding the Program, the Center will host Dr. Nael Hatata, a Dermatologist Consultant, on Thursday, Sept. 1st, 2016 (corresponding to Dhul-Qi‘dah 29th, 1437H), from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.    
 
It is worth mentioning that the female specialists at the MOH’s National Center for Information and Health Promotion will be fully ready during the working hours of working days; to provide the pilgrims and their families with health tips and guidelines, highlighting the importance of adhering to basic vaccinations and medical prescriptions in due time, along with other health issues of concern to them. This comes as part of the MOH's endeavors to help pilgrims, Allah willing, perform the Hajj rituals easily, smoothly and safely.
