Under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Health Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, the activities of the Saudi Health Exhibition and Conference will be launched on Monday at Riyadh International Convention & Exhibition Center (RICEC). On this occasion, the Vice Minister of Health and Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Saudi Health Exhibition, Mr. Hamad Al-Doweila‘, highlighted the keenness of the organizing committee to make all necessary arrangements for the success of the event. He pointed out to the support the health sector is receiving from our wise government and the concentrated efforts it exerted with the aim of upholding the status of the Kingdom in general, and the joint efforts exerted by the MOH and Riyadh Exhibition Company Ltd. in particular, in the field of health care and making of international conferences and exhibitions, in order to be, Allah willing, a model to be followed in developing and modernizing the exhibition. As a result of such efforts, it has become one of the most prominent exhibitions in the region and an important destination for the pioneers in the medical, health and nutrition fields.
Al-Doweila‘ praised the position occupied by the conference as far as development and investment is concerned, through international partnerships, with the aim of achieving the Kingdom's vision of enhancing the health care sector and high-quality services. He said the minister of health's patronage of the exhibition brought to it a great significance and outstanding position.
Presiding over the 4th session of the organizing committee of the Saudi health exhibition, he noted that the preparation for inauguration of the exhibition almost outlines the features of its launch, which will be held under the patronage of the health minister, in collaboration with the organizing committee, Riyadh Exhibitions Company Ltd. and Informa Company, during the period from 16-18 May, 2016.
"The participation of the MOH in this exhibition aims at enhancing the standard of medical and health services and improving health awareness for the community through purposeful events, as well as direct communication with the community and its various categories and cultural levels", he elaborated.
He pointed out that all preparations related to organization of the exhibition are completed, and the members of the exhibition organizing committee have been notified about allocated spaces for international companies and organizations, as well as international activities and scientific conferences annexed to it. He underlined the importance of the media and networking sites' interaction with the event.
