In continuation of its efforts to improve its health services and provide health care for citizens, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced its cooperation with Careem Company to provide seasonal flu vaccine for beneficiaries at their homes, places of work or wherever they are, for their convenience.

The MOH stated that the vaccination service, to be launched today, includes a number of cities and provinces in the Kingdom, namely: Riyadh, Diriyah, Kharj, Jeddah, Taif, Dammam, Khobar, Dhahran, Jubail, Hofuf, Buraydah, Unaizah and Madinah; in an endeavor to cover the largest possible number of beneficiaries.

It added that the applicant can get the service, via Careem application on smart phones, by selecting vaccination service, and then a vehicle will reach him with medical staff to offer him and his family the vaccination against seasonal flu. The MOH has assigned more than 160 vehicles to provide the service, from 04:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

It is worth mentioning that this service, which is reckoned an innovative service, comes as part of the MOH's transformation initiatives, in coincidence with the start of implementing the initiatives of the National Transformation Program (NTP) to achieve Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
