Governor of Jazan to Inaugurate Tomorrowa Number of Health Projects

His Royal Highness the Governor of Jazan Region, Prince Muhammad bin Nasser bin Abdulaziz, in the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Eng. Khalid bin ‎Abdulaziz Al-Falih, ‎will inaugurate a host of health projects in Jazan Region on Tuesday November 24th, 2015 (corresponding to Safar 12th, 1437H). These projects comprise Prince Muhammad bin Nasser Hospital, Al-Amal Hospital for Mental Health and Addiction treatment and Baish General Hospital, in addition to 53 centers for health care disseminated all over the governorates, cities, villages and hamlets of the region.
 
The Spokesman of the Ministry of Health (MOH), Mr. Faisal bin Saeed Al-Zahrani, has pointed out that this gracious patronage of Governor of Jazan region shows his interest and generous support to the health sector in the region, in addition to his support to the region's people, in terms of the preventive, therapeutic and rehabilitative health services, the matter which has had a deep impact in developing the health services and improving the performance levels in this region.
 
 “Such new health projects come within the framework of the MOH’s current trend and plans to provide health services and disseminate them all over the Kingdom's regions with high quality; in such a manner that saves the citizens from the burden of travel outside the region for treatment. These projects, which will add 500 beds to increase the bed capacity from 1,700 to 2,200, will achieve a paradigm shift in quality and quantity,” said Al-Zahrani, adding that these projects will provide specialized services in cardiology, oncology and ophthalmology surgeries, as well as mental health and primary health care services.  Besides, these projects will focus on the preventive and awareness services; in an endeavor to achieve MOH's new slogan: “Health First.”
 
For his part, the Director General of Jazan Health Affairs Directorate, Dr. Ahmad bin Muhammad Al-Sahli, has indicated that these new health projects come within the framework of the MOH's keenness to achieve the universal health development in the whole Kingdom; especially in the border areas, which are being attached special support of the wise leadership.
 
 “The launch of these projects reflects the interest of the Kingdom, represented by the MOH, and its ongoing keenness on providing health care for citizens, maintaining their health and safety and meeting their health needs. These projects will contribute, Allah’s Willing, to advancing the health work, which will positively be reflected on the development of health services and raising the performance level of health facilities at this great region in our generous country,” Al-Sahali said.
 
Finally, Al-Sahali has extended his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Minister of Health, Eng. Khalid Al-Falih, His Excellency the Vice Minister, Mr. Hamad bin Muhammad Al-Duweila', and all MOH's leaders, including the Deputy Ministers and the General Directors, for their support and care to the health sector in Jazan; the matter which has had a significant impact on advancing the level of health services provided for citizens in the region.
