His Excellency the Acting Minister of Health, Eng. Adel bin Muhammad Faqih, has issued today a ministerial resolution mandating Dr. Ahmad Muhammad Samman to undertake the tasks and responsibilities as the director of East Jeddah Hospital.
Formerly, Dr. Samman worked as a consultant in cardiology, and head of both the Adult Cardiology Unit, and Non-Surgical Cardiac Laboratory at King Abdullah Medical City (KAMC) in Makkah. Likewise, he assumes the position of Head of the adult congenital heart disease workgroup at the Saudi Heart Association (SHA).
It is worth mentioning that Dr. Samman is a holder of the Canadian fellowship in Cardiology from the University of British Columbia in Canada, and the Arab Board in Internal Medicine, as well as MBBS from King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah in 1994.
