The Minister of Health Meets with the Ambassador of Egypt

During a meeting with His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabiah; the Ambassador of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Kingdom, Afifi Sayid Ahmad Abdul Wahaab conveyed heartfelt gratitude and thanks on behalf of the Egyptian Government and people to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz - May Allah preserve his wellbeing -  and also to the Government of the Kingdom and its noble people for their generous gesture of sending three field hospitals to Egypt.
 
In a press statement, the Egyptian Ambassador venerated the position of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques - may Allah preserve him - towards Egypt during recent times. He said: “the position is strong and characterized by wisdom, and so we regard it highly with appreciation and gratitude. It has had a significant impact upon every Egyptian, as they felt that there was someone standing by Egypt in a sensitive circumstance”.
 
He continued: “King Abdullah’s position connotes many messages and strong meanings for all parties, both on a regional or international level. The Kingdom stands beside the Egyptian government and people, and will not allow any third party to intervene in the affairs of Egypt. The Kingdom considers the affair of Egypt a Saudis affair, as well as an Arab and Islamic one from the beginning to end."

The Ambassador, Afifi disclosed that the Saudi Ministry of Health has recently contracted, approximately 943 advisory physicians of different specialties on a work excursion to the Kingdom. He pointed out that his meeting with Dr. Rabiah focused on the exchange of experiences and cooperation between the two countries, especially in various medical researches.
