Assistant Deputy Minister for Supply and Employment Lauds the MoH Pavilion in Janadriyah 28

During his visit to the Ministry of Health’s Pavilion in the 28th Janadriyah Festival, the Assistant Deputy Minister for Supply and Employment, Mr. Ibrahim Hafez, underscored that the Ministry, via its Pavilion, endeavours to introduce what is currently being conducted, and what will be offered in the next stages of enhanced health services to meet the aspirations of citizens.
 
He lauded all he saw during his tour in the MoH’s Pavilion; as he witnessed the quantum leap in both the professional and educational sides to serve the interest of visitors. There was the theatre, which presented gifts to visitors, and was attended by all age categories. Visitors were eager to see such comedy scenes, that convey educational and awareness massages.  Moreover, there was an operation room; the credit goes to King Fahd Medical City in Riyadh that the operation room is offered to visitors to enter and view the latest advanced equipment, as that helps lessen the fear from operation rooms in the future and assure visitors, Allah willing.
 
On the other hand, the Nutrition General Department participated in the MoH Pavilion through (The Healthy Food Palm) program, which aims at raising awareness with the nutritional intake in quality and quantity, daily needs of proportions of nutrients, consistency of physical exercise for the different age categories, as well as contribution to reducing diseases associated with nutrition and its repercussions among the members of the society such as obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure (hypertension), anemia, vitamins deficiency and so forth.
 
The program presented an overview about the basic foods rich in beneficial nutrients such as proteins, vitamins, minerals, and fibres. Also, the program urged visitors to modify their nutritional behaviour and avoid fast food, sodas, as well as salty, sugary and fatty foods, let alone the importance of modifying the food behaviour.
 
For its part, the child theatre, organized within the MoH Pavilion, participating in the National Festival for Heritage and Culture (Janadriyah), attracted this year a turnover of visitors who interacted with the entertaining, educational activities offered to them.
 
The child theatre received a great interaction by visitors who were impressed by the programs and the presented awareness educational massages, as well as contests and prizes that encouraged many of them to participate and interact with theatre and musical shows.
 
Furthermore, the child theatre presented educational theatrical shows directed for kids to educate them with beneficial health concepts, apply the righteous health habits and practices, and give the kids the opportunity to participate in the shows and contests.
 
The child theatre managed to convey awareness massages that shed some lights on purposeful directions and advice about dental health, first aid, dealing with fire burns, smoking damages, diabetes, hypertension, and obesity. Moreover, producers of the theatre shows insured to spread the culture of maintaining public health, focusing on healthy foods to benefit kids. In addition, the child theatre offered various educational awareness contests where they gave away many prizes.
