Head of the Hajj Inventory Control Supervisory Committee Conducts an Inspection Tour to Health Centers

   The Supervisor General of MOH Inventory Control, and head of the Hajj Inventory Control Supervisory Committee, Dr. Ma'eed bin Yahia Al-Qahtani, made a inspection tour through the health centers of Mina Holy Site, Al-Jamarat Bridge, Mina Al-Wadi Hospital, Mina Al-Jesr Hospital. He made sure that work in these facilities proceeds pretty well, and verified of the availability of the medicines and medical supply provided by the Ministry of Health for the Guest of Allah (pilgrims) while performing the Hajj rites, within the framework of the integrated health services they receive.

Formerly, Dr. Al-Qahtani had opened the Annual Meeting of Storekeepers and Inventory Observers at Al-Noor Specialist Hospital, with the attendance of Assistant Deputy Director General of Makkah Health Affairs for Medical Supply, the Assistant Director of Makkah Health Centers, and the heads of inventory control committees and sub-committees. The meeting benefitted 85 participants of the storekeepers participating in Hajj.

The meeting included a lecture given by Dr. Al-Qahtani, under the theme: “Pharmacy Management in Health Facilities”. For his part, the Deputy Head of the Hajj Inventory Control Committee, Ph. Al-Badri bin Mohamed Abu Hadi, presented a presentation on the Automatic Inventory Control during Hajj, in addition to reviewing the plan and mechanism of returning medicines and medical devices from the Holy Sites' health facilities to medical supply warehouses. This was followed by an open discussion among participants.
