Minister of Health: Pilgrims Are Safe, and No Coronavirus Cases Detected

His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, has declared that, so far, all pilgrims hailing to the Holy Sites are safe and free of diseases. He pointed out, also, that no new coronavirus cases have been detected; thanks be to Allah. This disease had formerly left behind a toll of only three cases; two Saudis and a non-Saudi. No other cases have been recently detected, thank Allah!
 
Dr. Al-Rabeeah made clear that the overall health situation of the Guests of Allah (pilgrims) at the Holy Sites is very reassuring, and that there is nothing to worry about.
 
His Excellency the Minister of Health made this announcement following his inspection tour to the Health Control Center, at King Abdulaziz International Airport – Jeddah on Thursday, where he took a look at the health services provided by the center for pilgrims. He also gave the oral polio vaccination to a number of pilgrims at the Pilgrims' Terminal. The members of the health work team, for their part, gave the vaccination to 362.641 pilgrims (of both genders), and the Subaru preventive vaccine to 208.550 pilgrims.
 
Dr. Al-Rabeeah was accompanied in his tour by the director general of the airport, the deputies minister, undersecretaries and other MOH senior officials. His Excellency the Minister of Health, besides, paid an inspection visit to Northern Jeddah Hospital, where he briefed on the hospital's workflow, and the achievements accomplished so far.
