Under the chairmanship of His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Health for Planning and Development, and head of the Hajj Preparatory Committees, Dr. Mohamed bin Hamzah Khoshaim, the heads of the Hajj Preparatory Committees convened this morning to discuss the reports submitted by the relevant committees, and their preparations for the upcoming Hajj season, placing particular emphasis on the Holy Sites in Makkah and Madinah, as well as the land, sea and airports.
Participants in the meeting tackled, also, the Regular Follow-up Report, submitted by the MOH General Agency, to cover the health situation and epidemiological map throughout the world, highlighting the prevalence spots and the ways of prevention. The report, thus, provides an effective plan to ensure pilgrims' health and safety.
“The committees' work complies with the policies and procedures emanating from the broad cumulative expertise the committees have acquired in Hajj affairs over the successive Hajj seasons,” Dr. Khoshaim said.
This meeting comes within the framework of the MOH's early preparations for providing of distinguished healthcare services for pilgrims during the forthcoming Hajj season.
