07 April 2012
Under the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, May Allâh protect him, the graduation ceremony of 600 doctors, pharmacists and nursing trainees who have met the graduation requirements this year, and got the Saudi Specialty Certificate in more than 40 health specialties, is held on Saturday, 7th April, 2012, by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS).

This announcement was made by His Excellency the Minister of Health, and Chief Officer of SCHS, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, who extended his sincere thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for his gracious patronage of the ceremony.

He said, “The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques' patronage of this event is a new manifestation of his unstinting support and ongoing follow-up of the health sector in general, and the development of national health workforce in particular. The Kingdom's health sectors have witnessed substantial development, both in terms of quantity and quality, as a result of the Leadership's keenness to carry this vigorous sector to perfection. This has been reflected in the significant increase of health workers (doctors, technicians and other specialists and highly qualified trainees who received world-class training at international advanced centers). And with the increase of the Kingdom's medical centers and health faculties, it has been possible and feasible to offer training courses for various health specialties domestically.”

Dr. Al-Rabeeah made clear that the patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques is full of implications, as it signifies the Wise Leadership's keen interest in the development of health science. This is well reflected in the promotion of scientific level and professional experiences, in addition to ensuring the provision of best-quality health services throughout the Kingdom's regions. In conclusion of his announcement, Dr. Al-Rabeeah said, “This generous patronage is reckoned an honor for all health workers, and a new indication of his unending benevolence and virtuousness, which are manifested in all scientific and cultural events.”
