pDr. AL Rabeeah: The Government Praise the Ministry of Health Efforts in Hajj

The Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz AL Rabeeah, stated today during the Ministry's Eid greeting ceremony, attended by the deputies and directors of the ministry, that The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz, The Crown Prince and The Second Deputy premier have praised the Ministry's efforts in this Hajj season regarding the provided health services to the pilgrims.
 
Moreover, he mentioned that the Ministry accomplishment was distinguished this year due to its organized and great performance and comprehensive health services provided to the pilgrims. He added," Ministry of Health efforts was not only confined to primary, secondary or tertiary health care but it extended to cover the forth level of health care" .
 
The Minister of Health, revealed that about 230 cardiac catheterization procedures and 15 open-heart surgery was performed this Hajj season for the first time, where the heart attack patient was referred immediately via air evacuation, air ambulance or ground ambulance to King Abdullah Medical City or Al Noor Hospital in makkah. This assures the Ministry capability to handle all cases the pilgrims may face during mass gatherings.
