Graduates of government colleges to sit for classification t
08 February 2009
Graduates of government and private health colleges must both pass classification tests set by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties as a prerequisite for obtaining a classification certificate, said MOH official spokesman Dr. Khalid M. Al-Marghalani.

He said His Highness the Minister of Health Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Mane, in a recent meeting with representatives of health colleges graduates, has made no exemptions in being subject to SCFHS decision requiring all under B.Sc. health graduates of governmental institutes to sit for a special classification exam in the same pattern followed with graduates of private institutes. "Graduates of government health institutes and colleges are subject to the classification standards applicable for other graduates", he said.

He said efforts are underway for finding a way for recruiting the graduates either directly through MOH or in coordination with other relative bodies.
