The President of the Saudi Red Crescent Society HRH Prince Faisal bin Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz has welcomed the arrival of the GCC Ministers of Health to Riyadh. He expressed on the occasion of the 64th conference of the GCC Council of Health Ministers in Riyadh, KSA, on behalf of himself and all SRCS personnel, his welcome for convening such important event in Riyadh. The SRCS president also extended his appreciations to the Director General of the Executive Office of the GCC Council of Health Ministers Dr. Tawfeeq Khoja for his noticeable efforts in boosting joint Gulf work.
He described convening the conference under the banner of (Heart First) as an indication of acknowledging the importance of collective work in dealing with this vital organ. He said SRCS, with all its personnel and capabilities, is availabe to participate in all efforts exerted towards promoting health care in the GCC countries.
"The successes realized by the GCC Council of Health Ministers have been the result of availability of a number of reasonable capabilities", he said. "We hope such successes to continue for the benefit of the people in the Gulf".
He said the leaders of the GCC countries had been knowledgeable of the importance of coping with the needs of contemporary era. "The have been knowledgeable of the importance of providing the best health services to the GCC people", he said. "Therefore, they wished the Council bodies, especially the health bodies, to utilize all capabilities for attaining set goals".
