The Minister of Health Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Mane met today at his office at the main MOH Headquarters a delegation from the World Health Organization headed by Dr. Fariba Darazi, the Regional WHO Consultant for Nursing.
The meeting reviewed the cooperative program between WHO and MOH for the coming two years (2008-2009). The current cooperative program for the years 2006/2007 has also been evaluated.
Attendants in the meeting included the Regional Coordinator of the program Dr. Mohammed Asai, the WHO representative Dr. Awad Abu Zaid, the MOH Assistant Undersecretary for therapeutic Medicine Dr. Yaqub Al-Mazroo, and the MOH Director General of Training and Scholarship Dr. Abdul Majeed Khan.
