The Ministry of Health has finalized the preparations for admitting the visitors of its clinics at the Janadriya 22nd National Festival organized annually by the National Gurad.
The MOH Undersecretary for Executive Affairs Dr. Mansour N. Al-Hawas said MOH participates in the festival in order to present the achievements of the Kingdom in the health area. The participation also aims to boost health awareness through the activities of its clinics in the festival.
He said the participation aims mainly to inform people of the health problems and relative awareness campaigns carried out by the Ministry of Health. Special leaflets shall be distributed in this regard and developments in the area of health service provision shall be displayed. The private health sector shall also provide some health services and prizes to the public. He appreciated the Janaddriya Festival as an important national occasion in which the originality of the past mixes with the promising future, thus encouraging the government to display its achievements to the public.
"Janadriya is a unique gathering in which our cultural and traditional features are represented", he said. "We are witnessing substantial developments in health service provision and the participation of the Ministry of Health comes in time to reflect the support offered by our leadership in this regard".
