The Director General of the Executive Bureau of the GCC Council of Health Ministers Dr. Tawfeeq Ahmed Khoja raised his gratitude towards His Royal Highness Prince Talal bin Abdul Aziz, the President of the Arabian Gulf Programme for United Nations Development Organizations (AGFUND), for the generous support he offered to the GCC Health Economics Conference, which is organized by the Executive Bureau in coordination with MOH and a number of regional and international organizations in Riyadh during the period from 3 to 5 Nov 2007, at King Faisal Conference Hall, under the slogan (Diabetes Economics, a Vital Investment). The opening session of the program will be patronized by the Minister of Health Dr. Hamad Al-Mane.
"The support provided to the conference is part of a long chain of support which has been provided by AGFUND to the programs and forums organized by the Executive Bureau of the GCC Council of Health Ministers", he said.
He said invitation has been extended to all interested personalities, denoting that the conference includes a women's forum under the title "Enabling for effective participation of women in the treatment measurements provided to diabetic patients", which will be directed by HH the wife of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Princess Hussah bint Tarrad Al-Shalan.
