Hajj preparatory committees hold tenth meeting

The MOH Health Administration Consultant and Head of Hajj Preparatory Committees Dr. Rida bin Mohammed Khalil has headed the tenth meeting of the Hajj preparatory committees at the Conference Hall. The meeting reviewed a letter submitted by the Preventive Medicine Committee Chairman, including a demand for raising the staff at the Health Monitoring Center for opening six new halls in the Pilgrim's City of King Abdulaziz Airport in Jeddah.
 
The meeting also reviewed a letter submitted by the Director General of Financial Affairs, including a demand for allotting SR210,000 for securing 3 ambulances for the 1427 Hajj season.
 
The meeting informed the heads of committees on the telegram of Um Al-Qura University including their intention to convene a scientific forum for Hajj research. A letter submitted by the Director General of Information technology regarding the websites required to be linked to the system (linking pharmacies to hospitals).
 
The meeting also reviewed the works accomplished by the Hajj Manpower Committee and the Hajj Visiting Manpower Committee. The developmental projects at the health sectors of the sacred shrines have been reviewed.
 
The meeting comes within the early preparations carried out by the Ministry of Health for providing the best services to pilgrims.
