Vaccinations For Pilgrims Coming from Inside the Kingdom:

To maintain your health and the health of other pilgrims, make sure to take and complete the necessary vaccination doses before going to Hajj, and document them in (Sehhaty) application.
The vaccinations:
  • One dose of the Covid-19 vaccine given during 1446H:
A single dose of the COVID-19 vaccine should be taken regardless of previous vaccination, provided that the period since receine is no less than 10 days and no more than one year. The vaccine protects against infection with the virus and its variants and reduces the severity of symptoms and disease and in addition to minimizing the rate of hospitalization in case of infections.

  • One dose of Seasonal influenza vaccine given during 1446H:
A single dose of the seasonal influenza vaccine should be taken no less than 10 days and no more than one year after receiving the vaccine. The vaccine protects against infection, which can spread easily in crowded areas and cause serious complications, especially for those with chronic diseases and immunocompromised individuals.

  • One dose of meningitis vaccine given during the past five years:
It is an important and mandatory vaccine for all domestic and international pilgrims. It protects against a serious bacterial infection transmitted through droplets from the nose and mouth, affecting the brain and spinal cord. 
The vaccine must have been taken no less than 10 days and no more than 5 years ago.
