MOH Urges Students to Get Fully Vaccinated Against COVID-19 Before School Year Starts
10 August 2021

MOH called on all male and female students (aged 12-18 years old) to book an appointment to take the two doses of the (COVID-19) vaccine before the start of the new school year, in continuation of its efforts to prevent more infections and protect society from its complications and rapidly spreading variants. Appointments are available at all vaccination centers.

Furthermore, in continuation of the partnership and integration with MOE, the Saudi Authority for Data and Artificial Intelligence (SDAIA), MOH, and the Digital Government Authority, “Appointment Booking Priority” was launched through ‘Tawakkalna’ application. It allows students and their parents to choose the dates they want to book appointments, even if these dates are not available. The nearest location is determined based on the available appointments at MOH for the age group 12-18 years. This gives priority to the groups targeted to take the vaccine before they return to schools on August 29th.
