A medical team at Samtah General Hospital, Jazan region, managed to save the right hand of a 37-year-old resident from amputation as a result of a serious injury he sustained while using an electric saw at a workshop, tearing all the tendons, damaging the arteries and veins of the main nerve, and the palm and the whole wrist become functionless.
Upon his arrival at the emergency section the patient was sent to the operating room where the medical team stopped the bleeding, reconnected all tendons and restored the functions of the hand.
