Minister of Health Stands on the Readiness of Health Facilities in Sacred Sites

His Excellency Minister of Health, Fahd bin Abdurrahman Al-Jalajel, checked on the field today, Tuesday, the readiness of health facilities in Sacred Sites to provide health services to pilgrims for Hajj 1444H.
His Excellency was accompanied on the tour by the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health for Public Health, Dr. Hani Joukhadar, Director General of Health Affairs in Makkah Al Mukarramah Region, Dr. Wael bin Hamza Mutair, Director General of Hajj and Umrah Department at the Ministry of Health, Dr. Sri Asiri, and the CEO of Makkah Health Cluster, Dr. Hatem Al-Omari.
Ministry of Health stated that this tour comes to follow up progress of work in the health facilities inside the holy sites, to measure their readiness; To provide services and medical care to pilgrims.
Minister of Health thanked the efforts made by all health cadres assigned to serve pilgrims, whether in health facilities in the sacred sites or inside Makkah Al-Mukarramah.
The tour of His Excellency Minister of Health included East Arafat Hospital, the "East Arafat" field hospital, the "Arafat General and Helipad" field hospital, the "General Syndicate" field hospital, and the Mina emergency hospital.
Ministry of Health affirmed that all its facilities are at a high degree of readiness and preparedness in the holy sites, to provide health services to pilgrims with the fastest and best capabilities harnessed to serve them. There is hardly a square in the three holy sites (Mina, Muzdalifah, Arafa) without the existence of health sectors, whether a hospital, a seasonal center, a mobile clinic, a field hospital, or a field fleet, in addition to what the Ministry of Health provides annually in terms of health care instruments and methods for pilgrims.
Ministry of Health indicated that all these facilities are equipped with necessary requirements to provide medical, health and awareness services and care to guests of the Sacred Sites, and to provide a number of water mist fans; To reduce heat exhaustion and heatstroke.
