The Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced that Mina Al-Wadi Hospital is ready to receive and serve pilgrims; in terms of enhancing it with medical and non-medical equipment and providing its staff with good amenities.
It is noted that the hospital features 15 outpatient clinics, with a total capacity of 160 beds, including 24 for emergency department, 6 for cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), 4 for suspected cases of respiratory diseases, 4 for dialysis services, 25 for ICU, in addition to 24 beds for heat exhaustion and heatstroke cases among pilgrims,
The hospital provides its health services during Hajj season, in terms of receiving and treating emergencies and cases with internal diseases, heart diseases, respiratory diseases, critical cases, ICU cases, general surgery, orthopedics, in addition to obstetrics and gynecology cases.
Also, the hospital has two operating rooms, a delivery room, a gastrointestinal endoscopy unit, a sterile processing department (SPD), a blood bank, and a radiology department (that contains 3 mobile devices, and fixed device, and two CT scan and ultrasound machines), in addition to a laboratory that performs all required tests and examinations.
It is worth mentioning that the hospital has been enhanced with 550 mandated employees, including administrative, technical, and medical cadres, working 24/7 to serve pilgrims, and provide them with preventive and therapeutic health and services.
