Al-Ahsa Health Cluster Obtains Accreditation for Basic Life Support Programs for the Skills Center and Simulation Lab

​The Clinical Skills and Simulation Center of Al-Ahsa Cluster has obtained the accreditation certificate from the Adults and Pediatrics Advanced Life Support programs (BLS,PALS,ACLS) accredited by the American Heart Association. ​

According to the Cluster, this accreditation comes after completing all medical equipment, the necessary training techniques, and human cadres to become an approved medical training center with the aim of strengthening the clinical skills of health practitioners. Last year, it has supervised the implementation of 24 programs for specialty certificate, health diploma and subspecialty programs, including 18 Saudi specialty certificate programs for residency programs, 3 subspecialty programs (medical fellowship), and 3 diploma programs with a total of 480 trainees in all programs. It also increased the number of training centers to 15, during which 140 life support courses were provided, benefiting 1495 trainees.
