The Ministry of Health (MOH) organizes the 2nd Saudi Sickle Cell Disease and Thalassemia Conference from November 25-27, 2021 in Jeddah.
The conference targets all specialists in benign hereditary blood diseases, especially sickle cell disease and thalassemia. It will review scientific papers by elite of specialists in the field of sickle cell disease and thalassemia. Also, on the sidelines of the conference, the national guide for counseling doctors and premarital examination will be launched, which aims to promote sustainable health development by educating couples who are planning to get married to protect their offspring from genetic diseases.
