Over 500,000 Prescriptions Dispensed through ‘Wasfaty’ Service in Al-Ahsa

According to Al-Ahsa Health Cluster, over 523,000 prescriptions were dispensed through ‘Wasfaty’ service, with 84 health facilities being activated to provide the service. It pointed out that the ‘Wasfaty’ service has recently been activated at Al-Omran General Hospital, King Faisal Hospital and Mental Health Hospital. Also, training courses and workshops were provided for employees to ensure optimal service delivery by utilizing all the system’s features for the sake of beneficiaries.

It is to be noted that the ‘Wasfaty’ service is an electronic service with the aim of improving health services, ensuring the availability of medicines for beneficiaries through linking hospitals and primary healthcare centers with community pharmacies. It also aims to facilitate prescription dispensing and obtain the necessary medication at any time and from the nearest community pharmacy.
