 Najran: 800 Beneficiaries Served by Developmental and Behavioral Disorder Center in 3 Months

​​The Development and Behavioral Disorder Center of the Maternity and Children Hospital- Najran has provided its services to 800 beneficiaries during the first quarter of this year, according to Najran Health Affairs.


It pointed out that the number of patients registered with the center reached 249, including 38 patients with autism spectrum disorders, 38 patients with ADHD, 8 patients with Down syndrome, 53 patients with mental and developmental delays, 79 patients with language delays, and 33 beneficiaries of other categories.

The center’s general clinics have served 578 beneficiaries, including physiotherapy, occupational therapy, psychiatry, speech and communication, social service, psychological tests and measures clinics, in addition to 56 patients benefiting from the psychiatry and speech clinics, it added.

It indicated that the center provides its services to those under the age of 18, and the center’s departments include psychiatry, speech and communication, psychological service, social service, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, skills development, behavior modification, psychological tests and measures, entertainment, and observation departments.
