MOH Records 1,161 New COVID-19 Cases, Reiterates Call for Compliance with Precautions

According to MOH's latest statistics, 1,161 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported in the Kingdom over the past 24 hours; thus bringing the total number to 458,707 confirmed cases, including 9,376 active cases and 1,579 critical cases.

MOH has called upon everyone to hurry up to register, via «Sehaty» app, for getting the COVID-19 vaccine; to maintain the health and safety of all society members, highlighting the importance of adherence to precautionary measures, including social distancing, to stop the spread of the virus.

In addition, 1,216 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 441,860 recoveries. Also, 15 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 7,471, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them. Moreover, 86,073 new Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests for COVID-19 have been conducted in the Kingdom's laboratories.

MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
