MOH Calls for Speeding up Vaccination of Older People Against COVID-19

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has urged all community members to maintain the health of their parents and older people who are at higher risk for developing serious complications from COVID-19 infection. It indicated that the vaccination is an important step to preserve their lives and protect them against serious complications, calling on everyone to hurry up to register them for the vaccines via “Sehaty” app.​

In the same vein, MOH has announced that, over the past 24 hours, 338 new confirmed cases of Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported in the Kingdom; thus bringing the total number to 377,061 confirmed cases, including 2,562 active cases, and 475 critical cases.

In addition, 320 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 368,011 recoveries, all praise is due to Allah. Also, 5 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 6,488, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them. Moreover, 39,707 new Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) tests for COVID-19 have been conducted in the Kingdom's laboratories.

MOH has advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for consultation and inquiries around the clock, and for obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
