The Second Health Cluster in Riyadh, over the past year, has carried out 32 blood donation campaigns, with 2,498 donors. The campaigns come in continuation of the Health Cluster efforts in this field and in activation of community engagement and in confirmation of the humanitarian role of saving the lives of patients through blood donation. In cooperation with governmental and private agencies, the cluster has transported blood carts with the aim of reaching as many donors as possible and facilitating access to them. The campaign aims to spread the culture of blood donation among community members, to maintain public health, and to entrench such noble humanitarian goals.
