According to Najran Health Affairs, during the past year 2020, the anti-smoking clinics at hospitals and healthcare centers served 2,213 outpatients, of whom 711 quitted smoking. They have been provided with therapeutic and educational services about the harms of smoking.
It added that 12,800 persons have benefited from the awareness-raising activities and services provided by the mobile clinics at parks, markets, cafes, and public and private healthcare centers. The events aim at raising awareness of the harms of smoking for the individual and society.
