According to Jazan Health Affairs, over the past nine months of this year (2020), Prince Muhammad bin Nasser Hospital (PMNH) has conducted 836,864 lab tests, with 290,299 referred from emergency department, 165,885 referred from outpatient clinics, and 380,680 cases referred from inpatient department.
It is noted that the laboratory department conducts various tests, including that for immunoglobulins, viral infections, parasites, fungi, hormones, alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), biochemistry, drug control, complete blood count (CBC), in addition to tests for flow cytometry (FC).
