According to Al-Baha Health Affairs, Al-Aqeeq General Hospital has inaugurated the new water treatment plant for the department of hemodialysis. The cutting-edge plant is bigger than the old one and supports 60 hemodialysis machines at the same time. It is set up with alternating two-pump system to safeguard the filters. Heat sterilization is carried out by the pump automatically on a weekly basis and water safety is checked out periodically.
In the same vein, the department of nephrology, since it was launched, has served more than 120 patients and with the installation of the new plant more patients will be served quickly and safely.
