The Health Volunteering Center has participated in awareness campaigns marking the Kingdom 90th National Day under the theme “Lebaih ya watan) with the aim of disseminating the culture of health volunteering and implementing the precautionary measures and preventive protocols at more than 90 locations across the Kingdom.
The campaigns covered three volunteering aspects to ensure commitment to precautionary measures such as: social distancing among participants, wearing face mask and infection control through educating the participants and workers on the different methods of infection control. They also participated in the visual triage points and quick screening at the gathering sites.
Through 28 volunteering opportunities, around 1,268 volunteers have participated in the National Day campaigns and provided their volunteering services to more than 253,600 citizens and residents within over 9,000 volunteering hours across the Kingdom.
