The MOH spokesman made this statement in the COVID-19 briefing held on Wednesday, which also hosted the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) spokesman, Mr. Abdurrahman Al-Hussein. Dr. Al-Abdulaali mentioned that 1,180 COVID-19 recoveries were reported, bringing the total number of recoveries to 274,091 to date. And 36 new deaths were reported, bringing the total deaths to 3,506.
Of the cases reported today, 45% of the cases are females, and 55% are males. Only 5% of the reported cases are older persons, 10% are children, and 85% are adults. 61,067 new COVID-19 lab tests have been conducted throughout the Kingdom, bringing the total tests to 4,439,484 tests.
Al-Abdulaali revealed that there is a 72% decline in the number of new cases, compared to the maximum daily cases reported. As for critical cases, the decline has reached 25%.
