The Ministry of Health (MOH) has completed the implementation of its health awareness campaign «Fast Healthy», launched in partnership with SABIC Company since the beginning of the holy month of Ramadan, and in conjunction with the 'Stay-home' period. The campaign aimed to raise health awareness among all members of society, focusing on many topics. They included boosting the immune system, by following a healthy lifestyle during the Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, especially with the most vulnerable groups among the elderly and people with diabetes, hypertension, respiratory diseases, and others. It also addressed the importance of changing some patterns, which increased its effectiveness with home quarantine and lack of movement after the COVID-19 pandemic.
Besides, the campaign has featured a number of different interactive products, most notably: «Live Well» Quizzes, as well as activating each day through «Live Well» platform, which sends a question to be answered in replies, and winners are honored with daily cash prizes. The campaign has also included a number of various awareness challenges, via «Live Well», throughout all days of Ramadan, including daily health challenges, such as: «You Can Avoid Adding Sugar to Any Food Items for Breakfast», or «You Can Do 3 Exercises Using Office Chair», in addition to others challenges that help boost physical activity, balanced diet, and even psychological balance.
Furthermore, MOH has launched a #Cook_Healthy Program (#اطبخ بصحة in Arabic), which presents every day in Ramadan healthy cooks with a short and easy-to-share video, in addition to other various and creative health programs, through the main awareness platform: «Live Well».
This campaign comes in continuation of MOH’s efforts to educate all members of society about the importance of adopting healthy lifestyles for their health, safety, and infection prevention.
