Jazan: Over 1,800 Workers Screened for Coronavirus
03 May 2020

Jazan Health Affairs’ mobile medical teams have conducted thermal survey for more than 3,997 people in Jazan city and its suburbs. In line with the precautionary and preventive measures taken by the Affairs to combat the novel coronavirus, the healthcare centers’ optical triage points continue with checking patients to ensure their safety.

In the same vein, the rapid intervention teams of the central sector, over the past days, have tested more than 1,868 workers. This comes in the context of MOH’s active surveillance program targeting expatriate workers housing across the Kingdom. 537 samples have been sent to laboratories for coronavirus testing.
The Affairs implements strict precautionary measures at its hospitals and healthcare centers and activates a number initiative to serve patients remotely, including delivering prescriptions to patients at their homes, as well as Seha App, which provides audiovisual medical consultations.
