As part of the developmental initiatives, the Al-Mahd Health Cluster- Madinah has recently been enhanced with the state-of-the-art medical technologies in the cardiology field, including an Electrocardiography (ECG), and an Echocardiogram (ECHO), which is a test that uses high-frequency sound waves (ultrasound) to take pictures of your heart, as well as other tests with fast-speed and high-accuracy. The new device represents a qualitative shift in the development of the diagnostic and medical services witnessed in the hospital.
According to Madinah Health Affairs, over the past year, the hospital provided its integrated medical services to 72,846 emergencies and 29,404 outpatients and performed 14,540 X-ray examinations and 97,457 lab tests.
It is noteworthy that Al-Mahd Hospital (with 60-be-capacity) provides therapeutic and educational healthcare services to over 70,000 people.
