According to Bisha Health Affairs, over the past ten months of this year (2019), 151,000 patients were served by the southern sector outpatient clinics, 1,269 at the maternity clinics, and 13,285 at the healthy child clinics. The sector provided dental services to more than 6,673 patients through 5 dental clinics of a number of healthcare centers. Also, the health sector's centers implemented a number of awareness activities at schools, through 36 visits, as well as 12 initiatives. The sector participated in the National Influenza Vaccination Campaign, with 3,186 persons being vaccinated during this year, 1441H.
Recently, the Affairs has launched the shift work system at Al-Hazmi healthcare Center, form 04:00 pm to 11:30 pm, except on Friday and Saturday, noting that the southern sector has 12 primary healthcare centers.
It is noteworthy that the Affairs features seven health sectors in each of: Bisha, Balqarn and Tathleeth provinces, and Al-Amwah. Also, the Affairs has 72 primary healthcare centers.
