Health Minister Signs Community Partnership Agreement with Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Subaie Waqf

​​The Health Minister and Chairman of the Health Endowment Fund, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah has signed a community partnership agreement with Mohammed Ibrahim Al-Subaie Waqf (Endowment). The agreement aims to support and finance the initiative to reduce waiting times for surgical operations in MOH's hospitals and the visiting physician program for ophthalmology, and identifying patients in need of eye surgeries from the waiting lists, giving priority to the neediest patients.​

The agreement comes as a part of the Ministry of Health's (MOH) endeavors to enhance contribution of the private sector in health development, and to enable it to join the public sector in providing high quality health services in accordance with the actual needs of citizens and in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030. It also comes as part of integratation with the services provided by MOH for the sake of community and citizens. The agreement is a link in a chain of agreements MOH continues to conclude with charitable societies and organizations, private companies and businessmen. Through these agreements, MOH aims to open new horizons of partnership between the ministry and all segments of society, in order to achieve a comprehensive health development.

It is noteworthy that the community partnership program is one of MOH's new initiatives, which aims to engage all components of society to contribute to health development and achieving the objectives of the Kingdom Vision 2030, and opening new horizons of relationship between MOH and society for boosting the citizens' health.
