Girl's Life Saved by Medical Team at Hafr- Al-Batin Central Hospital

Endoscopy surgeons of Hafr- Al-Batin Central Hospital have successfully saved the life of a 13-year old girl suffering from severe abdominal pain. Due medical examinations and endoscopic tests revealed ruptured duodenal ulcer with a heavy pus in the abdomen that requires immediate surgical intervention. The team has made three incisions to remove the appendix and drain her abdomen of pus. Then she was transferred to ICU for 24 hours. After that, she was taken to inpatient ward for further treatment. After her condition improved, the girl has been discharged from the hospital.
