As part of its efforts to activate the anti-smoking clinics throughout the healthcare centers, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has recently inaugurated an Anti-Smoking Clinic at Al-Thanya Healthcare Center in Bishah. At present, there are two clinics in Al-Thanya and Namran and another one at King Abdullah Hospital in Bisha, providing their services each Monday of every week.
It is worth mentioning that these clinics at health facilities aim at raising the public awareness of the health hazards of smoking, and providing support and treatment for those people willing to quit smoking and prevent a relapse, as well as controlling the harmful effects of smoking.
