As part of the development plans to improve the quality of health services provided to patients, the Ministry of Health (MOH) inaugurated yesterday the Breast Cancer Early Detection Unit (Mammography Unit) at Al-Zulfi General Hospital. This Unit will conduct screening for early detection of the breast cancer long before the medical specialist to detect it.
The MOH has called upon those ladies, who hit the age of forty or over, to urgently undergo screening for early detection of the breast cancer, as the relative survival rate for its early stage amounts to 90%, Allah Willing.
