MOH Provides its Services to Over 202 Thousand Pilgrims

The Ministry of Health's (MOH) hospitals and health centers in Makkah and Madinah regions have received, during last Monday Sept. 5th, 2016 (corresponding to  Dhu al-Hijjah 3rd, 1437H), 12,433 pilgrims and provided them with all health services.
 
According to the medical records of the health facilities in the two region 86 pilgrims were admitted, 309 hospitalized, 96 undergone kidney dialysis, and heart surgery was performed on a patient in Madinah, 13 cardiac catheterization operations in Makkah and 5 in Madinah, 177 emergency cases in Makkah and 92 in Madinah.
   
During the period from August 4th - Sept. 4th, 2016 (corresponding to Dhu al-Qi'dah 1st - Dhu al-Hijjah 3rd, 1437H), the hospitals and health centers in Makkah and Madinah regions have received 202,723 pilgrims and according to the records 428 pilgrims were admitted, 1005 undergone kidney dialysis, and open heart surgeries were performed on 18 pilgrims and 210 cardiac catheterization operations.
 
Within the same vein, the health facilities in Madinah have received 3 cases of sunstroke and 5 cases of heat exhaustion, meanwhile no any cases of sunstroke or heat exhaustion have been received in Makkah's health facilities. Moreover, 3811emergency cases were received in both Makkah and Madinah regions.
