5237 Technicians Holding Health Diploma Appointed

His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Muhammad bin Ali Alhayaza, has issued today a resolution appointing 5234 technicians holding health diplomas, among those who received training at the Ministry of Health (MOH), in a number of specialties. This resolution came pursuant to the noble Royal Decree stipulating redressing the situation of those trainees who have passed the occupational classification in the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS).
 
Consequently, the Ministry has hired those graduates, and enrolled them in a training program for one year. They received the theoretical knowledge at governmental universities, and the practical training at the MOH facilities. A number of 5237 graduates passed this program, and as a result they have been appointed on Self-Employment Program in the certain jobs, as shown in the appendix herewith attached. As part of the resolution, also, Dr. Alhayaza has given his orders to the health affairs general directorates in the Kingdom to complete, through the competent departments, the appointment procedures of those graduates. In addition, he granted the supervisor general of self-employment program the full authority to issue any decisions subsequent to the aforementioned resolution, regarding those candidates who did not complete their appointment procedures, and to correct any job data relating to the candidates, as well as cancelling the decisions of neither those candidates who did not commence their assigned job tasks, nor those who did not pass the medical examination.
 
Furthermore, the resolution also grants the directors of health affairs general directorates all over the Kingdom’s regions and governorates,  the authority to redirect the appointed employees to the hospitals within the region or governorates, according to the need of work. Meanwhile, the relevant medical cities and specialist hospitals or any other facility must originate the needed positions for those newcomers, with effect of their work commencement from the date of  January 1st, 2015 (corresponding to Rabee’ Al-Awwal 10th, 1436 H).
 
On this occasion, Dr. Alhayaza congratulated the new employees, wishing them all good luck and success. Besides, he gave his directives that those employees are to be assigned, according to the available jobs in the regions, to a number of specialties, namely: radiology, epidemiology, pharmacy, laboratory, medical devices, health management and nursing. Finally, Dr. Alhayaza also called upon the new employees to head to the health affairs general directorates next Sunday.
