His Excellency the Minister of Health and Head of the Council of Health Services (CHS), Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, has issued a resolution mandating Dr. Salem bin Abdullah bin Salem Al-Wahhabi to undertake the statutory tasks, responsibilities and authorities as the Director-General of the Saudi Center for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (SCAHI) for a year. His post will be directly connected to the Head of CHS.
This decision comes by virtue of the Cabinet's approval to change the Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI) to the so-called Saudi Center for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (SCAHI). The center will be managed by a full-time director general and will remain under the umbrella of the CHS.
